Silky, luxurious slow scrambled eggs

Picture this: It’s a slow weekend morning and you have a little extra time to make your eggs a little more perfect. Why not treat yourself in a simple way? Slow, luxurious scrambled eggs are very easy to make, and they make you feel like royalty.

What you’ll need: 🔪

  • A few eggs
  • A whisk
  • A nonstick pot
  • A silicone spatula
  • Butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method: 🍅
Add a little butter to your nonstick pot and set it at medium heat.  In a separate bowl scramble the eggs vigorously. When the butter is melted and slightly brown, add the whisked eggs to the pot. Take your silicone spatula and stir the eggs on low heat. Don’t stop stirring.

When the eggs start to cook remove them from the heat for 5 seconds, then add them back to the heat for 5 seconds. Continue to stir. Keep on removing and adding to the heat until the eggs are creamy and soft. When they’re silky and cooked (see picture for reference).

Sprinkle some salt and pepper on them once you’re done! This is very important. If you add salt while the eggs are raw this will make the eggs runny and slurry. Slurry eggs are absolutely disgusting and that is not the texture we want to achieve.

On a plate, get some toast, add some mustard (I used GreyPoupon, because I love Barack Obama). Perhaps add some smoked salmon or ham—if that’s your vibe. Or maybe a little salad. Then, top the toast with the slow scrambled eggs. Stuff your face.  😋
