Silky, luxurious slow scrambled eggs

This breakfast, treat yourself in a simple way.

What you’ll need: 🔪

  • A few eggs
  • A whisk
  • A nonstick pot
  • A silicone spatula
  • Butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method: 🍅
Add a little butter to your nonstick pot and set it at medium heat.  In a separate bowl scramble the eggs vigorously. When the butter is melted and slightly brown, add the whisked eggs to the pot. Take your silicone spatula and stir the eggs on low heat. Don’t stop stirring. When the eggs start to cook remove them from the heat for 5 seconds, then add them back to the heat for 5 seconds. Continue to stir. Keep on removing and adding to the heat until the eggs are creamy and soft. When they’re silky and cooked (see picture for reference). Sprinkle some salt and pepper on them—never when they’re raw! This will make the eggs runny and slurry, the opposite of what we want to achieve.

On a plate, get some toast, add some mustard (I used GreyPoupon, because I love Barack Obama). Maybe add some smoked salmon or ham—if that’s your vibe. Top the toast with the slow scrambled eggs. Stuff your face.  😋
