This salmon marinade recipe works very well for however, you make the salmon: oven-baked, grilled, on the stove or smoked. The one in the picture is smoked because I was trying out a bbq! The recipe below is to make in a pan.
What you’ll need: 🔪
- 2 Tablespoons of grated ginger
- 1 Tablespoon of honey
- 4 Tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 Teaspoon grated garlic
- Pepper to taste (or cayenne if you like it spicy!)
- 2 Salmon fillets (100-130gr each)
Method: 🥄
Mix together all of the ingredients in a bowl and then transfer to a ziplock bag. Add the salmon fillets and let the salmon marinate for a few hours.
When you’re ready to start cooking your meal, get a pan and add a tablespoon of sesame oil. Then add the salmon (skin down) and cook for 5 minutes at medium-high heat. Lower the heat and cover the salmon. As if it were a steak, touch it to make sure it’s medium-rare (it should be soft). Then take it out of the pan and add it to your plate! 🍻
